Exquisite French Art Nouveau Writing desk in Japanese Ash

Simply exquisite antique French writing desk in the Art Nouveau design style made in 1895. A marvelous combination between Walnut & Japanese ash wood. The typical organic lines & floral decoration fitting for the art nouveau movement. One very rare detail are the 4 bronze ''Snail'' drawer grips, we have never seen these and they are simply the perfect finishing touch. She is a real beauty crafted with attention for detail, finished on all sides so you are able to place this freestanding in any room. The desk has 2 small drawers on top (with snail grips) and a belt with 5 drawer below. 3 of these can be locked and 2 have the amazing snail grips aswel. The desk has a leather top with gold trim however this shows signs of use scratches dents and minor wear fitting for its age & use. The design style, material quality & craftsmanship show this desk was designed by one of the better art nouveau designers from France.
